Our parish is blessed with an active and friendly community, who work together to support old and young, those sick and less able, those in spiritual, social or emotional need. We also know how to hold a good party! Our congregation includes parishioners who originate from all corners of the globe; at the last count, there are speakers of 48 languages! This gives us insight into a wide range of the problems facing God's people worldwide. And awareness of the universal language of Love.

St Francis de Sales is in the archdiocese of Southwark, and serves a densely populated, inner city area of London. Read about the work of the Church and its parishioners over 100 years.

We are fortunate to have the guidance of our parish priest, Fr Tom Heneghan, assisted by Sr Irena Madej and Sr Sarah Chabowska.

P Angel San Eufrasio is chaplain to Spanish speakers, and P. Jose Vaz Pinto is chaplain to Portuguese speakers.

Sr Margaret Liethin works with the Latin American community of Stockwell, and Hna Lucila Mendes with the Spanish speaking parishioners.

The Parish Pastoral Council includes groups for the different activities in the Parish - Liturgy, Music, Catechists, Family, as well as Ministers of the Eucharist, Ministry of the Word and Altar Servers.
